Highlights of LACMA
Highlights of LACMA returns! This guided tour takes students through various areas of LACMA’s west campus and introduces students to works from the museum’s modern, contemporary, and Southeast Asian art collections. Students will engage in close looking and engage in thoughtful conversation to learn how artists use visual elements and materials to create meaning. Objects include paintings, sculptures, and installations. Each tour will include 5 - 6 objects; a 10 minute discussion at each object includes grade-level appropriate questions and activities.
This tour takes place in LACMA’s Resnick Pavilion and BCAM building.
Suited for: Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

Offered: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
